Apple announced new MacBook Pro models in October 2023, still coming in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes. These models also include faster M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max chips, support for up to 128GB of unified memory, Liquid Retina XDR displays, a six-speaker sound system, and up to 22 hours of battery life.
On the lower end, the MacBook Air is Apple's alternative to the MacBook Pro, providing ultra portability and cheaper costs at some cuts to performance. Apple updated this laptop in June 2023 with a new 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display that is powered by the latest M2 processor under the hood. The new MacBook Air features MagSafe, two Thunderbolt ports, and a headphone jack.

Apple just announced the latest lineup of MacBook Pro models, and if you want the cheapest version of the computer you should look at the 14-inch MacBook Pro. These new notebooks feature M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max chips and various internal upgrades.
Best Buy currently has the 8-Core M3, 1TB 14-inch MacBook Pro for $250 off. This is an all-time low price on the notebook and it's available only to My Best Buy Plus/Total members.
16-Inch MacBook Pro (M3, 2023)
Alongside the 14-inch M3 MacBook Pro, Apple also announced the new 16-inch M3 MacBook Pro. Similar to previous generations, with a bigger display you'll be paying a higher price for these models.
Amazon has the 12-Core M3 Pro, 18GB RAM, 512GB 16-inch MacBook Pro for $2,249.00, down from $2,499.00, which is an all-time low price.
13-Inch MacBook Pro (2022)
At WWDC in June 2022, Apple revealed a refreshed version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro and it includes the company's next-generation M2 chip.
The design and hardware of the 13-inch MacBook Pro have not changed compared to the previous generation, with the focus this time on the internal M2 upgrade. If you want the newer, slimmer bezel design you'll need to look at the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros.
13.3-Inch MacBook Air (2020)
At the entry-level spot you'll find MacBook Air models. This version of an Apple notebook is perfect for anyone looking for a reliable laptop computer and who doesn't plan on performing too many GPU-intensive tasks. Although it's not the highest-performing Mac in Apple's lineup, it's still a capable machine that will be adequate for many users.
There are some opportunities for discounts on the 2020 MacBook Air models at Amazon, which has the 256GB model for $749.99, down from $999.00. This is an all-time low price.
13.6-Inch MacBook Air (2022)
The 13.6-inch MacBook Air was introduced at WWDC in June 2022, and it includes the new M2 chip as well as a major redesign to the hardware of the MacBook Air.
B&H Photo has the M2 MacBook Air at $949.00 for the 256GB model, which is an all-time low price.
15.3-Inch MacBook Air (2023)
The newest model in the MacBook Air family came out of WWDC 2023 and it features a larger 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display and the latest M2 processor. Apple calls it "the world's thinnest 15-inch laptop," measuring at 11.5mm thick and 3.3 pounds.
